Just a word of warning... this is the craftermath of me trying to scrapbook some pictures. Images are messier then they appear on the screen. This is a mini album I'm working on of a trip to Seattle my daughter and I took last Spring. It was a four day trip so not a ton of photos, but I definitely want to remember the memories. I am absolutely loving having "adult" children. It's such a different relationship and I feel like I can also be a … [Read more...] about Do You Scrapbook?
Memories & More
Not Just Another Boring Album
I was recently talking about our Memories and More scrapbooking line with a friend. She mentioned that she liked the idea of the pocket pages that make scrapbooking so much quicker, but she was not in love with the plain 6x8 albums. Her words… “who wants a plain brown book?”. And I totally agree! Nobody wants a plain, boring book. That’s for sure. Then I explained to her how I decorate my covers. I'm glad the albums are plain so I can make … [Read more...] about Not Just Another Boring Album
Tomorrow is…
National Scrapbook Day and Cinco de Mayo! I sure had some tough choices for today. Do I share scrapbooking or tacos? This time I'm going with the scrapbooking. You'll have to get your own tacos. Years ago, I stopped scrapbooking almost entirely. I continued to scrapbook our vacation albums here and there but I pretty much gave up on the everyday family pictures because I felt like I would never ever be caught up. The … [Read more...] about Tomorrow is…
Color Coach
I'm sure you think that all of us Stampin Up Demonstrators are whizzes when it comes to matching colors. If you need it, it's there online and you just print it out. Since we are getting a Color Revamp with the start of the new Catalog in June, Stampin … [Read more...] about Color Coach
Day 5-Display Stamper Blog Hop
Have you met my faithful assistant Frannie? She is always by my side and loves to help me in the studio. She's great at shredding paper and unspooling ribbon. And if you need something chewed, she's ready to take on the challenge. Frannie is 7 lbs of terrier mutt, although most of that is fur and ears. She loves to lounge on the back of the couch and always has this one ear perked up to make sure she's not missing out on something. … [Read more...] about Day 5-Display Stamper Blog Hop
Day 1-Display Stamper Blog Hop
This week, I'm joining the Display Stampers Blog Hop, sharing some of my creations that I made for the OnStage Displays in Salt Lake City. You're probably wondering...what exactly is a Display Stamper? Well, it is a person that is selected by Stampin Up's Art Department to make the projects that will be up on display at their OnStage Event. It is a huge honor to be selected as we are making the first artwork that our fellow Demonstrators will get … [Read more...] about Day 1-Display Stamper Blog Hop
A Little Jar of Christmas
In Southern California, we don't get much in the way of snowy Christmases. It is 94' on Sunday as I write this and we are almost to the end of October. Don't worry though... tomorrow it's going to be 101'. Yay. I found these adorable jars at a local store and they had a hardware kit to add a post to the top of the jar so you could add a picture or card. Our Memories & More Christmas set was the perfect size to top these jars. We … [Read more...] about A Little Jar of Christmas
