Happy Monday! Today I'm sharing my second make & take from the retreat this past weekend. I really enjoy seeing everyone at the retreats. And I love seeing what everyone is working on. These ladies are pretty dedicated to their crafting. This make & take is actually a gift card holder. The reality is that gift cards are actually a pretty good gift, even if we feel like it's a cop-out when we give them away. Most people I know … [Read more...] about Deck The Halls
Gift Holders
A Little Merry
One of my favorite things to make around the Holidays is gift holders. I realize I could save myself a lot of time and buy gift bags and boxes at the store, but where is the fun in doing that? My favorite gift holder from the Catalog is our Mini Pizza boxes. These boxes can fit so many different small gifts, like gift cards, jewelry, chocolate, or cash. To decorate these boxes, I make a "belly band". The belly band wraps around the center of … [Read more...] about A Little Merry
Little Elephant
Do you ever have an idea that you think is going to be simple and then it turns out not to be? Well, that is today's project. I found an idea for a cute little pocket card that looked so easy, but it involved math. Yikes! This card uses the adorable new Little Elephant stamp set in the Annual Catalog. I was sold on this set when I saw the coordinating elephant punch. O-M-G it is so cute. The set and punch both have a mama elephant and a … [Read more...] about Little Elephant
Painted Harvest
Well, I made it home from OnStage yesterday. I can’t believe it’s over already. It's weeks of planning and then everything whizzes by in blur. We are up early in the morning and we go to bed very late. I am exhausted. One of the best parts of OnStage is getting to meet up with friends from around the Country that you usually only see at these events. I wanted to have a little something for these ladies. I knew the mini pizza boxes would be … [Read more...] about Painted Harvest
Prize Patrol!
Last Thursday night was our monthly Downline Meeting. I love getting together with this group and hearing about their successes and helping with any challenges they are currently having. This is my class room/meeting space. This space is pretty awesome. My husband and I redid our garage (YES, this is our garage) to make it into a classroom and workshop space. Between the wood flooring, cabinetry, and glitter paint on the walls, our garage is now … [Read more...] about Prize Patrol!
Snowflakes for Everyone!
When I had my first peek at the new Holiday Catalog, there were a couple items that I knew I absolutely needed. Yes, needed. One of those products is the brand new die set Swirly Snowflakes Thinlets. Whoa! These dies are gorgeous! I was a little nervous that they wouldn't work really well due to the level of detail in the dies. Sometimes those super detailed dies are a pain to work with because it's so hard to get the paper out of the die … [Read more...] about Snowflakes for Everyone!
Five Minute Friday – Gift Card Holders
Seriously, my studio is in need of a major cleaning. I'm knee deep in gift card holders the last couple days. I'm making a ton for the upcoming Holiday Boutique that my Downline and I will be at. Just check out this stack. I've got to get these assembled asap so I can move on to more projects. These gift cards turned out so cute! I did use our retired stamp set Perfect Blend. This is one stamp set that I will never part with. I can't tell … [Read more...] about Five Minute Friday – Gift Card Holders
Mother’s Day is THIS Weekend!
Mother’s Day is this Sunday. Can you believe it? It’s not too late to send your mother a Mother’s Day Card. And if you’re hand-delivering it, you still have plenty of time! Today I'm sharing an adorable gift wrap idea to hold your mom's present. This little purse was made by Poli and it was her swap for our April Downline Meeting. I love the great use of washi tape as purse straps. Washi tape is so inexpensive and we all have tons of it in our … [Read more...] about Mother’s Day is THIS Weekend!
