I'm so excited to share this month's sampler kit - Love. I love the bright, bold colors and patterns of this kit. And I love how all the different squares came together. That little gnome guy is just the cutest! Several people have asked what I do with the samplers. I use them as home decor pieces in my home. I change it out every month seasonally. Several customers have used them in scrapbooks, and another uses them in a shadowbox frame. I … [Read more...] about February Sampler-Love
Valentine's Day
Happy Valentine’s Day
Today is the day.. it's Valentine's. The Sweet Talk Suite includes these adorable treat boxes. They are the same size as the old fashioned heart candies. I remember the candies from my school days. They were one of the things that was good at the time, but I've discovered better treats now. But they still have a nostalgic feeling. To decorate the box, I wrapped card stock around the outside and then pattern paper on top of the card stock. I … [Read more...] about Happy Valentine’s Day
Hug Me!
We are three days from Valentine's Day and I'm sharing the love. Today's card is a quick one. All the little pink hearts in the background are hand stamped, but it's not as complicated as it seems. The stamp actually has three heart stamps all in a row so you aren't stamping just one heart at a time. The stamp set in the Sweet Talk Suite includes several of the candy heart stamps to pick from. I chose the Hug Me and UR Cute. And the … [Read more...] about Hug Me!
UR Cute
Oh my goodness, Valentine's Day is next week. I've got several projects to share and will do my best to get them all posted this next week. Today's project combines the Free Catching Butterflies Sale-a-bration stamp set with the Sweet Talk Suite. Rather than butterflies, the little girl is catching Valentine's candies. This card is one of the slimline formats and it's perfect for the girl with the net and lots of the candies floating in … [Read more...] about UR Cute
A Little Something…
I wanted to design a quick treat holder that would be inexpensive to make. I came up with this small chocolate "book". This is super easy to make and costs very little in supplies. Start with a piece of card stock that is 4.25" x 3.5". Score it down the center on the 4.25" side. Cut a piece of pattern paper to 3.5" by 1 7/8th". Glue down with tape runner. The ribbon wraps around the outside of the "book". Stamp your heart on a piece of white … [Read more...] about A Little Something…
You Had Me At Stamps
This is my last card using the Loving You Always Suite, for now. :) The pink and black and white combination is just so pretty, I couldn't resist using it over and over. The Metallic Foil paper comes in the three colors, so you have plenty of options to make lots of different things. I used the heart border die for the top of my tag. It's a little heard to see in the picture because of the tiny size of the hearts, but it's pretty in real … [Read more...] about You Had Me At Stamps
Love You
Happy Wednesday! I've got a couple more Valentine's Day projects I need to share before Valentine's Day. Today's card uses the beautiful floral heart die in the Floral Heart Die set. The die is almost the same size as the card front. I used the die on our vellum paper and it makes a beautiful frame around the pink metallic heart. I am totally in love with this pink metallic pattern paper. The copper foiling on the paper is just so pretty … [Read more...] about Love You
