We're finishing up this week with another Sketched Butterflies card. This one actually came about using up some left over pieces from other projects. A Simple Little Card
This was meant to be a quick and simple card. And then I had to make it complicated. I loved the scattering of all the little butterflies, but the card looked flat. So I stamped more little butterflies, then cut them out individually, and added them with pop dots. It adds a little something to the card having additional layers. Sketched Butterflies
I'm a sucker for butterfly stamps. If there's a butterfly stamp in the catalog, it's guaranteed that I'm going to purchase it. Usually, I color butterflies like a Monarch butterfly, in oranges and yellows. This time, I went with purple. I absolutely love this stamp set. Dearest Friend
Summer heat can be a lot in SoCal. I think we have another two months before the heat starts to drop. Every Winter, I can't wait for the rain to stop and the days to warm up. Oh my goodness, the Thoughtful Journey Suite is just amazing. The more I use it, the more I love it. The pattern paper is just amazing. The colors are fabulous. Did You Know?
Did you know that you can color any of our ribbons using our Blends markers? This means you can have ribbon in just about any of our colors. I used one of our Fresh Freesia Blends markers to color this beige ribbon. When coloring your ribbon, you will need to allow it time to dry. Otherwise, you may get ink on your project. Thoughtful Journey Suite
