I love the adorable images in the Pieces & Patterns Stamp set and the Pick A Pattern paper. The critters are so cute. I can't decide which are cuter - the dinosaurs or the woodland creatures. But I do know I absolutely love the little moose in the pattern paper. Those antlers! The Pick a Pattern paper with the cartoony animals is one of my favorites from the new Annual Catalog. It looks like the woodland animals are all standing around … [Read more...] about I’m Wild About You
Happiness is… Coffee and a Cupcake!
I know I promised to put the Coffee Break Suite products away for a little while. Does a whole week count? I've been dying to get them back out this entire time. I had more ideas that I wanted to try. If you haven't yet snatched up the Coffee Break Suite, you need this Suite. Yes, need. There are so many things you can do with the stamp set and dies. This is just what every Monday morning needs...coffee and a cupcake. I made a … [Read more...] about Happiness is… Coffee and a Cupcake!
Watermelon = Summer
If there was one fruit that perfectly embodied summer, it’s watermelon. Every time I see one, I think of picnics, backyard barbeques, and pool parties. Watermelon is a staple at any Fourth of July party or State Fair. June’s Paper Pumpkin kit was the perfect kick-off to Summer crafting. June’s kit contained four Watermelon cards and four watermelon gift bags. The gift bags are 4 x 5.5” and the perfect size for a little treat for someone who … [Read more...] about Watermelon = Summer
I don’t think it’s supposed to look like that…
But I could be wrong. Check out the curve on that Cutting Plate. It's so bent out of shape, I could probably eat soup off of it. Don't worry, I can fix this. I'll just flip it over and run it through upside down a bunch of times and it will eventually start to flatten out a bit. Will it ever flatten out completely? Nope, but that's okay because it still works.My cutting plates and Big Shot get a ton of use. I use it at least 5-6 times a week. … [Read more...] about I don’t think it’s supposed to look like that…
Summer Has Arrived
And with it, the heat. Yes, the heat. We try to run the air conditioning as little as possible from June to July because we know that August and September are so much worse. But this weekend I had to turn it on. After spending most of the day at Disneyland in 90+ weather with very little shade, air conditioning was a must. This was our first weekend in five months that we did not have a school activity or a soccer game. Between school, … [Read more...] about Summer Has Arrived
Being A Loser Isn’t All Bad
Being the biggest loser is even better. For the last couple years, I've held a contest with my Downline to see who has the most retiring stamp sets that year. The top two with the most retiring stamp sets gets a free stamp set of their choice from the new catalog. It's just my way of trying to make them feel better about "losing" so many stamp sets to retirement. I certainly don't make them get rid of those stamp sets. They are free to do … [Read more...] about Being A Loser Isn’t All Bad
Planners and Clips
A few years ago I joined the planner craze. If you have no idea what I'm talking about google "planners" or "planner girl" and you will be amazed by what people do with planners. They've gone from boring lists of appointments to a fully decorated memory-keeping book. For some people, it's even replaced their traditional method of scrapbooking. They write in their lunch date with friends, snap a pic at lunch, and then glue their picture into their … [Read more...] about Planners and Clips
Floral Statements
Monday already? How can it be the start of another work week again? Wasn't it just Friday yesterday? Yep, this is me every week. Well, this weekend just flew by. It was full of activities and trying to get stuff done. I even managed to squeeze in a bit of crafting time with friends too. At one of our past Downline meetings, one of the ladies asked we could start card challenges in our group. We do a monthly card swap, but this would … [Read more...] about Floral Statements
