Did you know that I make a lot of Christmas cards every year? Yes, I make several hundred cards every year and most of them aren’t even mine. I make Christmas cards for hire. You too can hire me to make your cards for you. Today’s card is one that I’m making for a customer. She wanted something simple and flat for easy mailing. And she loved the Cheery Chirp stamp set in the Holiday Mini Catalog.
This card is very similar to the one in the Holiday Catalog, but I changed it up just a little bit to stay within my customer’s specifications. To make this card, I started by sponging a circle of Soft Sky for the background. Then I stamped the bird and leaves and the “season’s greetings” as well. The leaves and bird are watercolored using my ink pads and aqua painter.
