I can't tell you how excited I was to see the new Parisian Blossoms Suite in the Spring Catalog. Paris is one of my absolute favorite Cities. I haven't had a chance to do much with the Suite yet, but here is a card I made at one of our Downline Meetings recently. I believe this was designed by Poli. This is just so pretty with the soft pastel colors. And that Champagne Foil paper Eiffel Tower is so very pretty. The embossing folder used … [Read more...] about Paris Is Always A Good Idea
Sending Flowers
One of the fabulous Coordinating Products released in February is the Sending Flowers Die set. I ordered the die thinking "oh that little circle of flowers will be cute". And then it shows up and it's H-U-G-E. Oh my goodness! This circle of flowers is super cute and it takes up most of the front of card. So I did two different things with this die so I could layer it. I cut it first in the green and i was perplexed because it did not … [Read more...] about Sending Flowers
It’s a Birthday Bonanza!
Around here, February is birthday month. We have three family birthdays this month, in addition to several friends with birthdays. I've been busy making birthday cards like crazy lately. This one is a z-fold card design using the super adorable Birthday Bonanza Suite of products. I went all out on this one because I wanted to use so many of the cute images, dies, and paper from this Suite. Camping Out
The packers were here most of the day clearing out my studio. And this is what it looks like right now... The room is so empty now. I've been stressing for weeks over the thought of people coming in and packing up my craft room. But, it's done now. All the missing flooring was damaged in the plumbing leak. Contractors come tomorrow to start working on the house. I'm so glad this is finally moving forward. I did pull out some … [Read more...] about Camping Out
The End of An Era
This is my very last weekend in my craft studio. Tomorrow, the contractors come to pick everything up and move it into a pod in the driveway while they fix the house. I am bummed. I have no idea how long things will be packed up. I'm still trying to figure out what to keep accessible and what I can live without for a bit. My friends keep telling me it's okay and everything will be better than before. I'm trying to keep the faith, but it's hard. … [Read more...] about The End of An Era
Under My Umbrella
Today, I'm back with a card using more of the Pleased As Punch pattern paper. This paper coordinates beautifully with the Under My Umbrella Bundle. For my umbrella and rain boots, I stamped directly on the pattern paper. I used the coordinating punch for the umbrella, but I did hand cut the boots. For the focal point of the card, I die cut the frame from the Nature's Thoughts Die set. I wanted the rain drops to look like they're … [Read more...] about Under My Umbrella

Painted Poppies Class
At the last scrapbook retreat that I worked, I designed a fun class for some of the attendees to make. This is a wood easel stand that I painted white. For the class, they received an unpainted easel so they have the option to leave it natural wood or paint it themselves. This home decor piece ended up being fairly popular, but I still have a few kits left. Everything is already die cut, but you will need the stamp sets to go with it. If … [Read more...] about Painted Poppies Class
