If you've been around the card making world lately, you might have noticed a new style of card, called the Slimline Card. This card is unique in it's shape, which is 3.5" x 8.5". It's a long, slim card. This shape of card raises some interesting design challenges. Everything needs to be under a certain height, if you're making a horizontal card. Or it needs to be under a certain width, if you're making a vertical card. It can be a challenge … [Read more...] about Joy To The World
Do Penguins Snowboard?
Why, yes. Yes, they do. Just picture all those little guys in Antartica with nothing else to do. Of course, they are going to get out their snowboards and whiz across those glaciers. It is a secret though. So, you won't ever get to see them do it. When the photographers are visiting, they tend to just stand around in groups. But once the photographers leave, they break out the snowboards and have some fun. There they are...just sailing … [Read more...] about Do Penguins Snowboard?
World Cardmaking Day
This past Saturday was World Cardmaking Day. With Covid, it wasn't possible to do a big gathering for this event. Instead we did a small event with part of my downline group. We missed the ladies who weren't able to make it. Lyndi was kind enough to open her house to us for a shoebox swap. A shoebox swap is an event where everyone brings a project for the entire group to make. Here are the four finished projects. I love all of these … [Read more...] about World Cardmaking Day

Second Round of August Customer Thanks
Today I'm sharing my second version of the August Customer Thank You card that I sent out. I hope they didn't mind that it was Halloween themed again. I just love this bat pattern paper from the Magic In The Night paper pack. I think this is the first time I used the Hallows Night stamp set too. I've used the dies a few times, but not that giant label, which I love.
