As we speed along to the end of September (you can feel it, can’t you?), it’s time to start thinking about your Halloween decor. I’m one of those people who like to make their own decor, so I can match and coordinate things just so.
Today’s project is my Spooky Frame. I love how this artwork turned out. It’s just as I envisioned. Our Halloween products are pretty great this year. They all coordinate really well so you can mix and match different stamps and paper. I’m using three different Halloween sets yet they all coordinate beautifully. I wanted the theme of the frame to be more “cute” Halloween and not “scary” Halloween. Our stamp sets this year were perfect for that. For those of you with younger kids, you want something they can enjoy looking at and not something that will keep them up all night long. The pretty witch and the adorable trick-or-treating ghosts are perfect for that. Don’t be afraid to find non-Halloween products and use them for Halloween. The fence with the ghosts is from the Farmhouse Christmas die set, but it’s perfect here in black. This frame is from a Company that makes the Foundations line. These frames are really great. You get the beautiful wood frame and the interior spaces are all metal. All you need is a couple magnets and you can put anything in your frame. This is what it looks like without the artwork in the square. I love that I can have one frame and change out my decor as desired. The Spooky Frame project is my next Kit To Go. This is a kit that I will be taking orders for and then prepping the Kits as needed. The kit is $25.00, plus $4.00 if you need it shipped to you. If you don’t already have a Foundations frame and you need the frame too, the frame is an additional $25.00. The shipping for the frame and the Kit combined is $12 since it will need to be sent in a box. Don’t forget that you can use the frame over and over for other projects when the Halloween season is over.
If you’re thinking about the Kit, you can see below which Blends markers I used to color the ghosts and the little animals on the right. You will need to color your own ghosts and animals. The witch and cauldron will come colored.
