I just can’t resist a cute critter. Every time a new catalog comes out, I tell myself I don’t need more animal stamps. Yet, here we are. I’m the new owner of Turtle Friends.
Today’s card keeps the spotlight on this adorable critter. I used Soft Succulent ink and stamped it on the matching color card stock. I tried a couple other greens, but I think this color is my favorite. It really turned out to be a great color for this little guy.
I love that this stamp set has a matching turtle punch. I think that’s what sold me on the bundle, because I needed the punch. Punches can be so much quicker than getting out the die cut machine and die cutting a shape. Although, I did die cut the scallop border so I’m not sure how much time I really saved myself.
I have to admit, the white and green was a little plain, so I added a pop of color using Polished Pink for the sentiment, ribbon, and party hat. It might be a bit bright, but I like it.
So what do think about my little turtle friend? Do you want to see more projects with him? Comment below!
