I still had the Florals In Bloom Suite out on my desk this weekend so I made a couple more things with it. The Florals In Bloom Suite has these lovely floral images. I paired a couple of the pattern papers together to make my card. I added the vellum on top of the pattern paper to soften the look a bit. For my background, I stamped one of the floral images repeatedly around the outside edges to help fill in the space. I love how it adds a … [Read more...] about Bloom

Mini Magnet Board
Since we're approaching Back To School days, I thought it would be fun to make a mini magnet board. I found some mini metal hanging signs that are approximately 4 x 8" at a local craft store. The signs themselves were very plain and just had "welcome" stamped across them. I knew that they could be fabulous with a little bit of pattern paper added to them. I added the gray card stock first. Than each of the pattern paper strips centered in … [Read more...] about Mini Magnet Board
Lots Of Love
Happy Friday! Today I'm back with the Floral Delight Suite. My previous card used the dies to make the flowers. This time I'm using the stamps. The stamps are just as pretty as the dies. This Suite has two different coordinating packs of pattern paper. One is a a regular pack of pattern paper. The other is a pack of vellum paper that has some very lovely patterns. The blue gingham I used is one of the vellum sheets. This Suite is … [Read more...] about Lots Of Love
Make It Simple
Last week I shared this lovely card in our New at SU Blog Hop. I love this card with the embossing on the white card stock. It really steps up the look of the card. But what if you don't have embossing folders or a machine with which to use them? You can still make a lovely card without the embossing layer. Today's card is almost identical but without the embossing. I did use a die cut to make the white rectangle. However, you could cut … [Read more...] about Make It Simple
Thanks!
Oh my goodness, the Thoughtful Journey Suite is just amazing. The more I use it, the more I love it. The pattern paper is just amazing. The colors are fabulous. It's so easy to make a quick thank you card with just a bit of stamping and die cutting. If you ever feel like you're not creative, a product suite is a great place to start. Suites have stamps, dies, paper, embellishments, and usually ribbon too. And everything coordinates together! … [Read more...] about Thanks!
Did You Know?
Did you know that you can color any of our ribbons using our Blends markers? This means you can have ribbon in just about any of our colors. I used one of our Fresh Freesia Blends markers to color this beige ribbon. When coloring your ribbon, you will need to allow it time to dry. Otherwise, you may get ink on your project. I will usually let it dry for a couple hours or overnight before trying to use the ribbon. By being able to use my … [Read more...] about Did You Know?
Shy Shamrock
I'm rounding out the week with another new card showcasing another new In Color - Shy Shamrock. This is another one of the make and takes from the recent Stampin Up OnStage event in March. These events are one of my favorite things about being a Demonstrator. There is nothing like the excitement of thousands of Demonstrators all gathering together to share their friendship and love of crafting. Stampin Up has a great special right now for … [Read more...] about Shy Shamrock
Country Flowers
This is one of the make and takes from the recent Stampin Up OnStage event. The Country Flowers stamp set is a new stamp set in the new Annual Catalog. This set comes with matching dies. I didn't use the dies this time around, but will definitely use them for a future project. To save some time on coloring, I used our blending brushes to add color to the stems and flowers. I love the abstract look it gives. One of my favorite new In … [Read more...] about Country Flowers
