There are so many beautiful new products in the Annual Catalog and I’m trying my best to use them as quickly as possible so you can see just how beautiful these things are. If only I had endless amounts of time to play with all the goodies, then I could share everything with you.
Today’s project uses one of the polka-dot Kraft Pillow Boxes. These boxes are approximately 5×3″. These are a great size for party favors, treats, or small gifts. I wrapped my pillow box with a piece of the Garden Lane pattern paper. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this paper, but it has a nice variety of greens in the package and it actually makes a pretty background for my flowers. My pattern paper strip is 6.5×3″ and I used a bit of tear & tape to tape the paper to itself, rather than taping it to the box. This is really handy should I happen to make more boxes than I need, I can just slip the band off the box and use the box for another project. 
The daisy is from the brand new Daisy Lane bundle. For this flower, I stamped three of the daisies and layered them together to make one flower. This gives me a nice full flower on the front of my box. The Designer Elements from the Pressed Petals suite is the perfect finishing touch to finish off the center of the flower.
Next time you need a small gift box, think about using one of these pillow boxes. These boxes are an excellent value at 10 for $5.00. You can decorate them in any way you desire. Just think of the possibilities!
