At OnStage last month, one of the brand new stamp sets that we had the chance to play with was Rooted In Nature. It is part of the Nature’s Poem Suite of products. I can already tell that this is going to be a quick favorite among stampers. This Suite of products contains so many beautiful natural elements that help create an amazing card when layered together.
Today’s card features both the Rooted In Nature stamp set and Nature’s Poem pattern paper. This stamp set is perfect for nature lovers. This card has layers upon layers of gorgeous patterns and colors. 
The oversized tree stump makes a beautiful textured background. The tree has such amazing detail. I used my markers to color the tree to get a more realistic look. 
The linen thread and button adds the perfect touch to this card. You can’t tell here in this picture, but this is actually the back side of the button. The front side is a lighter shade of brown, and the backside is this lovely dark brown. I chose to use the dark brown side since it matched the colors better. These buttons first premiered in the Occasions Catalog this Spring and they will carry forward into the next Annual Catalog starting in June. I am so glad they’ll be around for another year since I’m just now getting around to using them.
We are now in the last few weeks of the 2017-18 Annual Catalog. The Retirement Lists have been posted for a while. And now a few items have been discounted as well, mostly embellishments or dies. All retiring items are only available while supplies last and will be discontinued after May 31. Due to high demand for retiring stamp sets, retiring stamp sets will be guaranteed available until May 25; all other products are not guaranteed and are only available while supplies last.
