This year, I am really trying to be more focused in rewarding my Downlines. I have always recognized their accomplishments in our meetings but I wanted to start giving out small treats as well. Last Thursday was our Downline Meeting and I had a couple different prizes for some of the ladies. The first was a pretty package of rhinestones for Lyndi, who promoted to Bronze Elite this month. This is a big accomplishment since she originally said … [Read more...] about Prizes and Recognition!

More flowers please!
Do you ever do this? See something and think “I’ll pass on that set, don’t need another one of those”? Then you start to notice all sorts of things being made with it. And they are so pretty! And then you start to waffle on whether or not you might need that set. When the Occasions Catalog came out last January, the Grateful Bunch stamp set was one that I totally bypassed. It was okay, but I didn’t really need another flower stamp set. It did … [Read more...] about More flowers please!
Shaker Cards
Have you noticed that shaker cards are really popular lately? There's just something totally cool about seeing all those little sparkly sequins moving around inside the card. There are two ways to make a shaker. You can add it to the front of the card so it's sitting on top. Or, you can add it to the side of the card. This card has the shaker on the inside and all the mechanics for the shaker are completely hidden. Even though this looks … [Read more...] about Shaker Cards
Five Minute Friday – Project Life

I was one of those people surrounded by never ending piles of photos and supplies. This was exactly why I love cardmaking and … [Read more...] about Five Minute Friday – Project Life

Graduation Season
Graduation Season has arrived. Although where you are it may have already come and gone. But here in Southern California, we start late and end late. We still have three more weeks of school, but it's not too early to start working on some ideas. This June our daughter graduates from 8th grade/Middle School. Next year, she'll be in High School. It's kinda funny, but her Middle School is the only school in our area that does not have a formal … [Read more...] about Graduation Season
Five Minute Friday – Birthday Style
I've made a lot of birthday cards in the last couple months. A lot. I'm trying to branch out from using so many cakes, candles, or balloons. As I was looking through my supplies, I knew just what to use! I bought the Sunburst die months ago because I know it would look great on a card. Sad reality here, I never got around to using it until today. Can you believe that? Please tell me I'm not the only one that buys craft supplies and hoards delays … [Read more...] about Five Minute Friday – Birthday Style
