Can you keep a secret? Good! So can I!
Inside this cute package is my Christmas gift for my downline members for our meeting this Thursday. I kind of went over the top with the tag and went simple with just a tissue paper wrapping.
The tag is made using the Winter Wishes stamp set. I love this stamp set. Anytime Stampin Up comes out with these retro winter skis or sleds in their sets, I must buy them. And I don’t live any where near snow. I stamped the sled in Chocolate Chip ink onto Crumb Cake card stock. Then I hand cut it out (sorry, no coordinating die for this one). I stamped the greenery across the top at a diagonal. Then on a separate piece I stamped in Real Red ink the “warm wishes” and before re-inking the stamp, stamped once more across the bottom of the tag. The Sahara Sand Lace Trim and the Real Red Pom Pom Trim are stapled onto the front of the tag. I added the wooden snowflake and the metal rimmed pearl to the smaller piece with the sentiment using glue dots.
The tag is actually three inches wide, which of course I found out was too wide to fit in any of our Tag Topper Punches. I was trying to come up with a solution on how to make my rectangle more tag-like, when I noticed my very neglected Curvy Corner Trio Punch. This is perfect for any size tag because it just trims the corner. And it even has a slot punch so you can thread ribbon through the top of your tag.
I can’t show you what’s inside this package just yet because I don’t want to spoil the surprise for my downline. You’ll have to check back Friday to see what’s inside!
