Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today we are showcasing products from the August-December Stampin’ Up! Catalog.
One of the hidden gem stamp sets in this catalog is the set Tree Angle. This stamp set has so much potential for amazingly pretty cards. The catalog shows this stamp set in the traditional red and green Christmas colors. I decided to take it a different direction. Here is my rainbow of trees!
I just love how this turned out. I love the bright fun colors and the nontraditional look for the card. The Slimline style of card is perfect for the row of trees.
A couple tips when making this card. Every tree will be adhered with dimensionals on the back of them. The two larger trees will have two layers of dimensionals on them. When gluing them down, you’ll actually start with the purple tree on the far right. Then adhere the red tree on the left. Then continue to work inwards to the trees in the center. You don’t want the bases of the trees all in a straight line. It actually looks better with the varying levels.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. If you have any questions about the project or how to put all this together, just let me know.
