Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today we are showcasing simple to stepped up cards.
For my card, I’m using the Storybook Gnomes Suite. This is a great Suite with lots of options to make the gnomes and winter scenes. For my simple version, I used the pattern paper for the background. Then I hand cut a piece of white card stock to resemble a snowy hill. To keep this simple, I stamped my greeting right on the snowy hill. I also die cut one of the gnomes from the pattern paper to save time having to hand color one of the gnomes.
If you want a more stepped up version of your card, here are some additional steps you can take to give your card more “wow”. This time I used a die to cut my snowy hill to give it that lovely edging. Then I added our Snowy Puff Paint to the hill to make it look more like actual snow. And this time, I stamped and colored my gnome.
Both versions are nice. The first card could easily be replicated if you need to make a number of these for Holiday cards. The second card is really nice if you plan to make individual cards for special people.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. If you have any questions about how to put this together, just let me know.

Adorable cards. Love the way you have used the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint to add texture to the snow.
