Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today we are showcasing simple to stepped up projects using products from the Stampin’ Up! Catalog.
My first card is the simple card, which is lovely on its own. Some simple stamping, adding the punched out leaf, and the twine bow. For the bow, I tied it and then glued it to the front of the leaf, simplifying the card even further.

And here is my stepped up version. Lots of layers, lots of stamping. I even distressed the vanilla card stock, roughing up the edges with my scissors. This time I tied the bow around the leaf stem. This is a little more tricky as I needed to make sure it wasn’t too tight that the stem broke off.

I didn’t worry too much about the background leaves being perfectly even. But it did take me a few minutes to figure out alternating them right-side up and upside down. Fortunately, vanilla card stock is not expensive so I was okay to toss the mistakes.

I love how you added the stamped background. It instantly changes the look and feel of the card! Great idea, and a good example of stepping it up!
Both are great fall cards but I really love the slightly overlapping stamped leaves on the second; that a really cool look and perfect to pair with the other elements! Thanks for sharing!
