Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today we are showcasing products from the Sale-A-Brfation Stampin’ Up! Catalog.
I used the new Bloom Impressions pattern paper from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog to make the butterflies for my card. I love that there is so much variety in the colors of the pattern paper.
The stamp bundle, Beautiful Butterflies is from the January-April Catalog. This bundle is a little more pricey than some of our bundles, but it includes the stamp set, the dies, and the embossing folder. The embossing folder is oversize at 6″ x 6.25″. This allows you to emboss a full card front in either horizontal or vertical. And just look at that detail with all the different sizes of butterflies.

A quick trick with the die cut labels… I wanted a layered label, but the die set doesn’t come that way. It has both a short and a long label, but their size is so different that they don’t layer like this. I used the die to shorten one end of the white label and since it’s a straight-line across, it only trimmed off the one edge. Then I cut another one in yellow and cut it down the middle. You can’t tell the yellow is not one complete strip because it’s the same exact height as the white label on top.
And one more trick with this card… The embossing folder is only 6″ and my white card front is 8.25″ tall. I embossed the top portion first. Then lined up the bottom 2″ in the embossing folder and embossed just the bottom. It you looked really closely, you could see the seam where the two embossing’s met. You can’t see the seam now because this is where my Happy Birthday strip is!
If you purchase the Beautiful Butterflies bundle and the sequins I used on the butterfly bodies or the gold dots I used on the labels, you can get the Bloom Impressions paper for free.

I love all the butterflies and the background, Diane! Thanks for sharing this!💕
What a fun way to use that DSP! It makes the butterflies more fancy!
The floating butterflies look so pretty in all the different colours.
It was very clever to die cut the butterflies from the DSP! They look so festive! Great ideas, Diane!
