Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today we are showcasing products to build beautiful backgrounds.
One of the easiest ways to create an amazing background is to use our embossing folders. You get a lot of bang for your buck with these. I used the Birch embossing folder today and it’s great because it’s oversize. I was able to emboss all the pieces for my card today at one time.

Today’s card is a z-fold, which is one of my favorite types of fancy cards. I love how when you open up the card, you get a surprise in the center. My card has a very frustrated squirrel trying to keep a hold of all his apples. Those itty bitty fangs crack me up.

Well, it looks like he succeeded and managed to fit all of them in his mouth. Yay, squirrel!
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. If you have any questions about how to put this together, just let me know. You can click the link below and it will take you through your Hop today. As you go through the New at SU Hop, be sure to leave comments on each page in the Hop letting us know what you liked.
Please contact your Stampin’ Up! demonstrator if you have any questions or to make a product purchase. I would be happy to answer any questions about products or the techniques shown here. Rusty the squirrel always makes me giggle, and works well with the Birch Wood embossing folder.
Such a great use of embossing folder for the background. It added to the squirrel story without taking anything a way.
