Happy Monday! I’m back today with more typewritten love notes. The Just My Type stamp set is still on my desk and I’ve enjoyed making a variety of cards with it. I suspect this stamp set will end up in my “save forever” stash even after it’s retired.
When you have a lot to say, you need to make a big card. Today’s card is a slimline style, which measures 3.5″ x 8.5″. The Delightfully Eclectic pattern paper pack contains the two pattern papers that I used. The blue paper comes with some of the hearts colored pink, but I colored more of them with my marker so I could have them filled in just where I wanted them.
For my sheet of paper in the typewriter, I wanted to make it look really long. To make the wavy effect in the paper, I glued some portions directly to the pattern paper, and then used pop dots layered three high in other areas to make it stand up quite a bit. This would be a tough card to mail with all the pop dots on it. I think this would be better tucked into a gift bag instead.
Do you enjoy making different styles of cards? Or do you end up making only cards that can easily be mailed? Comment below!
