My bags are packed and this morning I am on my way to Stampin Up’s OnStage convention. What is OnStage? OnStage is the name of Stampin Up’s Convention for Demonstrators. This is when we all get together to see the upcoming new products, share creative tips, share business tips, and meet up with our friends from around North America. If you want to join us for this amazing event, all you have to do is join my team. Now is an awesome time to sign up to be a Demonstrator to make a little extra money for the Holidays and get your craft supplies at a discount. There is nothing like a trip with 3000 of your best friends. It’s amazing.
OnStage officially starts tomorrow. But tonight we’re meeting up with 50 other Demonstrators for a shoebox swap. A shoebox swap is when all the attendees each bring the supplies to make a card they have designed. It will be a busy, late night making one of each of everybody’s card.
Here is my card that I am taking. I have two options – one in Bermuda Bay and one in Sweet Sugarplum. They were all going to be Sweet Sugarplum, but I thought it would be nice to give them the option to make it in either pink or blue. For my shoebox swap, I generally do all the die cutting and stamping up front for the attendees. I could take the stamps and ink, but then I run the risk of forgetting to pack the ink pad or the stamp or something else. So, I generally prep my swap so that it is assembly only.I can’t believe today is the day. All the months of planning and weeks of prepping are finally done. I think I pretty much got most everything done on my to-do list. And what I didn’t finish, I’ll be working on at the airport.. on the plane.. or in the hotel room.
November Specials! Did you get the October Paper Pumpkin kit? November’s kit will coordinate with October. However, if you missed out on October, don’t worry, you can still get November’s kit. Both kits are complete on their own. Subscribe now and the November kit will show up at your door around November 15th.
A brand new product?!? Say what?!? Yes, the Stampin Blends markers are available to purchase starting November 1st. The Stampin Blends markers are alcohol based markers and they help you create beautiful coloring with shading. Check out the Orchid in this picture. It is stunning. You really get the depth of the flower with the lighter and darker areas. With a little bit of practice, you’ll have these markers mastered in no time.
