And no, I’m not referring to those awful exercises. I’m talking about the last week before the Holiday Boutique and working on my projects for the OnStage Displays in three weeks (yikes!). Everything else is on the back burner for now. I’m foreseeing more than a few late nights in the coming weeks.
Here is a quick peak at my progress this past weekend… Lots of antlers and gold paint.
Those four gold circles are actually slices from a “tree” that I purchased at a craft store. They originally had black centers with initials on them. The metallic gold paint covered it nicely.
Here you can see the edge of the slice. It looks like it was sliced right out of the middle of the tree trunk.
I’m quickly wrapping up the unfinished projects for the booth. I’ve got lots of cards and an assortment of other holiday decor and gift card holders.
I won’t share the picture of all the booth stuff I have gathered in my living room. I’ve got quite the pile. Just a few more crafts to finish up and then I’m calling it good enough. If you’re local to Orange County, you should stop by the Holiday Boutique at El Toro High School, open Friday 4-9 pm, and Saturday 9-4 pm.. It’s open to the public and they charge a small admission fee to raise money for the basketball team.
Have you seen the special for October? This is the perfect time to stock up on your favorite pattern papers.
