Years ago, when I was a kid, my mom decided we should try riding in a hot air balloon. My dad was always game to try something new so she made reservations for an early morning ride. I can still remember showing up at the field as they are filling the balloon. I was in awe of the size of the balloon. It was massive.
Hot air balloons have always been one of those things that intrigue me. I do not like being up in high places, yet sailing across the sky in the hot air balloon was incredible and definitely something I would do again.
While I can’t take all of you on a balloon ride, I can certainly share a balloon card with you. This card was a recent make & take at a scrapbook retreat that I worked at. When the ladies saw all the clouds on the card, they were a little worried about how much stamping was going to be involved in this card. But I reassured them it wasn’t going to be so bad since there are three clouds all on the one stamp. Talk about a time saver!
The balloons themselves took a little more time since were were using different colors of paper and ink, but with the coordinating punch, even that didn’t take too long. I’ve got more plans for this stamp set so you’ll definitely be seeing more balloon cards.
