Every Fall, I love to watch the Harry Potter movies. I love the story, the costumes, the set designs. It’s an over-the-top vision of what kids dream a magical school would look like. This brings me to today’s card, which is once again using Joyful Life. I bought this stamp set just so I could make a Harry Potter pig. What’s better than one Harry Potter pig? A entire group of them representing the four houses of Hogwarts!
The red and yellow background card stock colors represent the Griffyndor House colors. I also made a version of these with the Hufflepuff House colors with yellow and green card stock.
All the black background pieces are left-over from a project using the retired Peek A Hoot dies. My friend Lyndi, was using the large background piece but didn’t need all the tags that it cuts out. She let me have them for all of my little piggies. Also, there is no coordinating die for this stamp set. I did have to cut out each one individually.
Are you a Harry Potter fan? Do you prefer the movies or the books? What do you think off my little Harry Potter piggies? I think these are just the cutest and I might have to make some more.
