The saga of the broken washing machine has almost reached an end. A brand new machine will be delivered tomorrow and I have my fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong. We have been without a working washing machine for over two weeks now and it hasn’t been easy. I did cave in and managed to do two very small loads, but it’s a huge process. The broken machine stops working at the rinse cycle and won’t drain. So I have to take the clothes out of the washing machine at that point, rinse them in the sink, and wring them out as best I can. Then I get to bail all the water out of the machine. Fun times!
The stamp set Daisy Delight and coordinating Daisy punch are both a popular favorite in the Annual Catalog. There are so many different looks you can get with this stamp set, but one of my favorite is the rustic look as shown here.
For the flowers, I stamped them four times and then layered them. The flower centers are the gold faceted gems. And that luscious velvet Rich Razzleberry ribbon… oh my goodness! I layered it over the top of our lace trim for the perfect vintage look. I sprinkled a few of our gold Metallic Pearls on the card too. I’m trying to make it a point to use our fabulous embellishments that I’ve been hoarding.
