Eeek! I’m so excited. Tomorrow I head to Portland for Stampin Up’s OnStage Convention this week. So often, when these trips come up, we fly in and out and spend as little as time as possible. Of course, having the Convention in the same City for many years meant that wasn’t a big deal. This time, Poli and I decided to add a couple days on to the trip to have a chance to do a little sightseeing. We’re going to try to cram in as many things as … [Read more...] about OnStage, Here We Come!
Here To Serve You
A few weeks ago I shared this adorable Snowman treat-holder here. This treat-holder turned out to be super popular at the last two events I shared it at because this is a super easy idea that is perfect for mass production. I've had a number of requests to share a pattern on how to mass produce this project. I'm a visual person myself, so it really helps if I see it on paper. If someone starts giving me a bunch of numbers verbally, I'm … [Read more...] about Here To Serve You
The Brand New Paper Trimmer
Hooray! It’s finally here! Stampin Up’s brand new Paper Trimmer is now available for purchase. I’ve been using it now for a couple weeks and I’m pleased with the results. The new Trimmer has a taller blade, which is great for a couple reasons. The first reason is that the blade will actually last longer than our previous blade. The second reason is that since it lasts longer, it’s more economical since you’ll need fewer replacement blades. And … [Read more...] about The Brand New Paper Trimmer
October Paper Pumpkin
Oh my goodness! October's Paper Pumpkin is one of the prettiest yet. This kit makes 10 beautiful Holiday cards and comes with matching foil envelopes. It's hard to see in the picture, but the trees and snow are die cut out of sparkly glitter paper. It's just stunning in person. Sometimes, we are able to purchase more kits at the end of the month. But unfortunately, the October Kit was so popular that they had just enough for subscribers and no … [Read more...] about October Paper Pumpkin
Tis The Season
A few weeks ago, I shared this beautiful Fall wreath that I made for a card. You can see it here. I received so many compliments on that card, I was seriously blown away. It was definitely a hit. And it's a card that is very easily replicated and it has such a wow factor. You definitely want to get your own set of the wreath dies so you can wow your friends and family too. While I had all the supplies out, I made a similar card for the … [Read more...] about Tis The Season
Seventeen
The years are short, but the days are long… It’s so true. While there are days that may feel like a never-ending struggle with a toddler, the toddler years will fly by and be a distant memory before you know it. Then you’re knee deep in school and homework and activities. Add in a “fun sport” and you’ll never have a free moment. Suddenly, they are starting high school and you’re wondering if both of you are going to survive their teen years. … [Read more...] about Seventeen
Happiness is a Warm Smile
Most of you already know that I live in Southern California. The only way I'm going to see a snowman is if I see one on the internet. I'm definitely not a Winter Season girl. Don't get me wrong. I love the way the snow and ice looks in all those pictures I see in books and online. But I won't be living in it - that's for sure. As soon as the temperature drops to 68, I'm digging out the scarves and heavy jacket. Even though I'm not ready … [Read more...] about Happiness is a Warm Smile
Deck The Halls
Happy Monday! Today I'm sharing my second make & take from the retreat this past weekend. I really enjoy seeing everyone at the retreats. And I love seeing what everyone is working on. These ladies are pretty dedicated to their crafting. This make & take is actually a gift card holder. The reality is that gift cards are actually a pretty good gift, even if we feel like it's a cop-out when we give them away. Most people I know … [Read more...] about Deck The Halls
