As a mom, there is such a feeling of relief when another school year ends. Even though mine are in college, it’s still a sense of relief when you know they are now on a break. My son graduated from college in April – YAY! My daughter just finished up last week and we moved her home this weekend.
When the kids were in elementary school, I used to surprise them with a little something to celebrate them finishing another school year. It was usually a game or a puzzle or some activity books. I haven’t done the little gifts in several years. High school kids are less interested in puzzles and activity books.
This year I went with mugs and chocolate. I know that chocolate is a definite hit with them and I’m sure they’ll enjoy the fun mugs. I used the A Little Cheesy stamp set to make my tag. On the back side, I wrote a little note for each of them to celebrate the end of the school year.
