One of the best things about visiting Hawaii is all the fresh pineapple. It’s so plentiful and it is one of my favorites fruits. The Tropical Oasis Suite has the cutest products to celebrate Summer. One of my favorite dies from the In The Tropics dies is the pineapple die. I love the size of it. The pineapple is about 4.5″ tall. With the size of the pineapple, I thought this would make a really cute treat holder.
Unfortunately, the set doesn’t come with a box die so I made my own template. It’s super easy to make a simple box like this. You just need to know how tall and how wide you need it to be. This box is 1.75″ tall by 1.50″ wide. You can see the box here in the photo below. It’s just small enough to fit inside the pineapple.
I used a q-tip to add a bit of ink to the pineapple, instead of a dauber. This allowed me to put the ink just on the little points. The trim is a small piece of the braided burlap trim, that I pulled apart to give it that frayed look.
I think this is just the cutest little pineapple box. These would be so cute to use as party favors or as a very, very small gift holder.
May’s Paper Pumpkin kit is going to have the new 2020-22 In Colors in it! You definitely want to get this kit, because you will be among the very first to get your hands on the new upcoming In Colors before they are available for purchase. Eeek! I can’t wait to see what this will look like In Color.
