Abstract Impressions – What’s New At SU Blog Hop

June 3, 2018 by Diane 15 Comments

Today, I am joining the What’s New With SU Blog Hop! I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrator from around the world who are Hoppin’ with exciting ideas to share with you. Today we will feature products from the Brand New 2018-19 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog, which was just released this past Friday.

My project today features the brand new In Colors for 2018-2020 and the amazing Springtime Impressions thinlets dies. In my studio, I have this small easel that I decorate every year with the brand new In Colors. I just took down my banner with the 2017-19 In Colors and replaced it with Lovely Lipstick, Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch, Blueberry Bushel, and Call Me Clover.

To make the banner, I started with a simple piece of card stock that is 4 x 2.5″. The polkadot paper on top of the rectangle is the new In Color 6×6″ paper stack that I die cut using the Springtime Impressions corner die. I used a bit of fine-tip glue to glue it to the rectangle. The Butterfly is also from the Springtime Impressions die set. It’s tough to see in the picture, but I colored all of the butterflies with my Clear Wink of Stella. They really do shimmer in person. I used the In Color ribbon for the bows at the top of each tag. The rectangles are strung together using our Linen Thread.

I love the rainbow of colors in the tag banner. It is so bright and cheerful – perfect for Summer, which is coming very soon. Just click the Previous button below to take to you back to the blog prior to mine in the Hop. The Next button will take you to the next blog after mine.

If you have a  moment, please comment at the bottom of this post and let me know how you liked my projects. Don’t forget to scroll back up and keep hoppin’ with us. Thanks!
