I wanted to design a quick treat holder that would be inexpensive to make. I came up with this small chocolate “book”. This is super easy to make and costs very little in supplies.
Start with a piece of card stock that is 4.25″ x 3.5″. Score it down the center on the 4.25″ side. Cut a piece of pattern paper to 3.5″ by 1 7/8th”. Glue down with tape runner. The ribbon wraps around the outside of the “book”. Stamp your heart on a piece of white card stock and punch out with the heart punch. Using the scallop heart punch, punch a piece of the gold foil card stock. Add a few of the Matte Black Dots to embellish the front.
Now, you’re probably wondering how you get the chocolate to stay in the book”. I used two glue dots on the inside and it holds the chocolate in place.
Such a cute and simple treat holder that uses minimal supplies. These would be easy to make if you need to pass out a bunch of these to friends or family.
