If there was one fruit that perfectly embodied summer, it’s watermelon. Every time I see one, I think of picnics, backyard barbeques, and pool parties. Watermelon is a staple at any Fourth of July party or State Fair.
June’s Paper Pumpkin kit was the perfect kick-off to Summer crafting. June’s kit contained four Watermelon cards and four watermelon gift bags. The gift bags are 4 x 5.5” and the perfect size for a little treat for someone who loves Summer as much as you. These gift bags come pre-scored with adhesive on them all ready to go. Just fold along the lines and peel up the tape and you have a bag. They also have a nice little feature that you can assemble them and then fold them like a lunch bag if you’re not quite ready to use them.
I love these Paper Pumpkin kits. They come with so many different things. And most of the project pieces are already die cut and have adhesive on them so you just peel and stick. All those wonderful Summer fruit images have me thinking about grilled pineapple, which is sooo yummy. If you haven’t tried it, I definitely recommend it. I cut the pineapple into wedges and then grill them in my grill pan or on the BBQ. I used to think a whole pineapple was hard to handle, but they really are so easy to slice. And it’s so much cheaper than buying those containers of pre-cut pineapple.
