Today is cards six through ten from the Virtual Card Retreat. This is another round of gorgeous cards. One of the nice things about this retreat was the prep video they had for this retreat.
The prep video explained how to get ready to make all the cards. This was actually an important step to have everything organized before starting. There were also printouts how what was needed for each card, ink colors, and die cutting that would be needed to make that card.
I can’t decide which of the cards is my favorite. The “thinking of you” card is one of my favorites in this group and it’s such a simple technique. For this card, we colored in the background of the black and white pattern paper. Leaving the flowers white on the colored background makes them really pop on this card.
All of these cards are stunning. It allowed me to try some techniques that I hadn’t tried previously, and some techniques that I haven’t tried in a long time. I’ll be back Friday with the remaining group of cards.
