If you’ve been reading my blog posts for the past couple months, you might have guessed that one of my absolute favorites from the Occasions Mini Catalog is the Oh So Succulent stamp set and coordinating Succulent Framelits. And I just noticed that this stamp and die set is not being carried forward into the next Annual Catalog. It is officially on the Retirement List. I was so sure that it was going to carried forward because of the popularity of the stamp set and succulents in general. Now that I’ve had a chance to come to terms with this set going away… I’m going to share just a few more things I have made with these products.
Today’s project is a home decor piece. I started off with a blank canvas that’s 4×9″. I used a wood stain to color the canvas. The burlap ribbon is wrapped around the edge of the canvas and bow added to the front of the canvas. 
The moss is glued down using a hot glue gun. To make the succulent flowers, I die cut them using the framelits. Then I inked the edges of the leaves in calypso coral. Since this is a decor piece, I used my hot glue gun to assemble the succulents and then glue them down to the moss. The little flowers are added around the bigger succulents. 
This project goes together fairly quickly. If you love the Oh So Succulent stamp set and Succulent Dies, don’t wait to purchase them. A number of retiring products have sold out already.
