Paper Bouquet

I love our kits and I love seeing how they can be re-imagined. I bought the Paper Bouquet for my own use. I had originally planned to use it just as designed, flowers in a vase. I had this basket from a local craft store and I had no idea what I was going to do with it. Then I thought it might be fun to do something a little different with the bouquet.

This basket uses about a third of the flowers in the kit so I have plenty leftover for something else. I assembled the flowers as per the instructions on the wire stems. It was a little tricky making the first flower, but once I had it figured out, they came together quickly. You definitely want to use a hot glue gun to assemble them and not a regular adhesive.

I trimmed the wire stems down considerably so I could arrange them in the basket. I’ll be honest, the back side of the basket looks a bit messy. The stems go through the holes to the back of the basket and they are hot glued down to the basket. You can’t tell from the front side but the hot glue definitely holds them in place.
