Wrapping up sharing the Painted Patch Suite this week. I’ve been busy making lots of different cards and this is one of my favorites so far.

This is called a Diamond Gate Fold card and you can find a pattern for this online. Some quick directions for this is to cut a piece of pattern paper at 5.25 x 12″. Then score it at 2″, 4″, 8″, and 10″. For the two ends, you will fold in all four corners. You’ll want to tack down the four corners with a bit of adhesive. Then add the square panel to the front over the diamond – make sure to put adhesive on only one side of the diamond.

I added white card stock to the inside so I could write my message.
This definitely packs a wow when you open the card. This looks like a complicated card, but it actually comes together quickly. I’m definitely going to make more of this same card pattern, but I’m going to pack away the Painted Patch for now. I am dying to get out all the Holiday stuff but I’m waiting to November to start sharing those sets.
