Happy Fri-YAY! OnStage kicks off tonight with their Leadership event called CentreStage. I am so thankful to all my customers and my downline. Without the support of all of you, I wouldn’t qualify for this event. I’m so excited to see what they will have in store for us this evening. Tomorrow is the main event – OnStage! We’ll be the first to see the brand new products in the Sale-abration and Occasions Catalogs. We’ll also be the first to receive some of them. I’m looking forward to seeing what they have in store for us tomorrow.
Today’s project is my October Customer Thank You Card. A card is like a paper hug. I love being able to send a little love to my customers each month. I’m blessed to have wonderful friends and customers that support my little home business. You all mean the world to me.
This time I’m using the brand new special release Christmastime is Here Suite of products. This is a special release product and not in the Holiday Catalog. If you love the rose image, on the products in the Suite is a matching gold bracelet with a rose charm. What a fun coordinating product.
I went with a really bold look for this card and it turned out amazing, if I do say so myself. 🙂 The pattern paper has the gorgeous gold foiling on one side. It looks so elegant.
The Christmastime is Here stamp set includes this gigantic rose image with all the greenery. And even better… it has a matching die so no hand-cutting this image. And the rose die actually cuts out the image on the pattern paper too. Hooray. I used our Memento black ink to stamp the image and then colored it using our Blends markers. For the coloring, I worked in small sections to get the best results. For example, coloring one leaf at a time. Then the next, and so on. For the roses, working on two to three petals at a time, and then a few more each time until it was complete. The light and dark markers blend together so much better if you work in a small section while both are still wet. Once they dry, you’ll have a harder time getting the light and dark shades to blend smoothly.
