Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today we are showcasing bundles from the September-December Stampin’ Up! Catalog.
I choose Sweetest Star for my bundle today. This is a stamp and punch combo. I love punches for their quick work. I don’t have to get out my die cut machine and get it set up. Just stamp, punch, and go.
For today, I wanted to make something a little different. In the Catalog, the sample for this set is a wreath using both the stamps and a bunch of stars that were punched out of pattern paper. Rather than recreating the same exact wreath, I took it in a different direction with a bottle brush tree.
Here is a close up view of the wreath. Using my hot glue gun, I added a bunch of our Loose Snowflakes to the tree and the wreath. The snowflakes come in several sizes, and those tiny ones are really tiny.
I used my clear Wink of Stella pen on Santa’s beard and the white fur on his outfit. It’s really hard to see it in the picture, but it’s definitely sparkly in person.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. If you have any questions about how to put this together, just let me know. You can click the link below and it will take you through your Hop today. As you go through the New at SU Hop, be sure to leave comments on each page in the Hop letting us know what you liked.
