Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today we are showcasing products from the retiring 2019-20 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.
One of my all-time favorite stamp sets, Abstract Impressions is retiring this year. I’ve used this one a number of times. In fact, I’ve used this one so much that all the stamps in the set are discolored from ink stains. Don’t worry though, they still stamp beautifully even if the stamps are stained.
This set is a photopolymer stamp set, and all the different parts of the stems and flowers are all separate stamps. This makes it so easy to layer them. And, since it’s “abstract”, they don’t have to be lined up absolutely perfectly.
The pattern paper is from the Best Dressed paper pack, which is also retiring, along with those adorable Best Dressed Tassels. The Polka Dot Tulle is not retiring – thank goodness because I use that one a lot.
As we get closer and closer to the end of the 2019-20 Catalog, I suffer a huge mix of emotions. I am so sad to see some of my favorite stamp sets retire. Yet, I’m so excited for the new stuff coming very soon. And if we didn’t retire products, we’d never have room for anything new. Life is tough some days. 🙂
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. If you have any questions about how to put all this together, just let me know.
