With all the craziness of the last month, I was pretty sure I was not going to have anytime to make some Easter treats this year. Well, I managed to get a few made after all. These were relatively quick to make because I used a previous design and just reworked it to be smaller. This is very similar to the Easter baskets that we made for the Ronald MacDonlad House. You can see those baskets here.
The earlier baskets that we made were square and approximately 4″ square. These are are rectangular in shape, and 2″ wide x .75″ deep x 3″ tall. Because of the small size, I left off the basket handle. These baskets are just big enough for a couple pieces of candy. 
I used the Orchid die again to make the bunny faces. I could have used our bunny stamp and punch instead, but I still had a couple of these orchids cut out from another project.
A customer recently asked me what I do with my left-over bits if I didn’t use them on the project. It depends on what it it is. If it’s something unique like the Orchid, I put the leftover pieces in the box with the stamp set. If it’s something more generic like a square or circle, or tag, I file that away with the scraps by color. Since I knew I had extra orchids, I was able to pull them out of the box and use them up.
