Lucky You

March 17, 2017 by Diane Leave a Comment

The month of March is full of all sorts of good things, like the First Day of Spring, the start of Spring Soccer season, and St. Patrick’s Day. Spring is right around the corner, we’re starting to see more days over 75′. And being in SoCal, it’s pretty much soccer season all the time. Today, let’s focus on St. Patrick’s Day.

Did you know St. Patrick’s Day officially began back in the 1700s and it was started in New York – not Ireland? With the increase of Irish immigrants, the March 17th celebration became widespread. St. Patrick’s Day has become a global celebration of the Irish culture and heritage.

Lately, it seems as though people celebrate it with green food (if we’re feeling brave) and chasing rainbows looking for that pot of gold. I’ve always associated it with luck. We are lucky, or blessed to have so many opportunities in life. Most of us have a roof over our heads, food to eat, and our health. We are very lucky. And St. Patrick’s Day reminds be to be thankful for those blessings.

Today’s card is an easy to make four leaf clover. The petals are made using the Sweetheart punch. To make them look more like a leaf, I scored each of the petals before gluing them together. The stem is from the Jar of Love stamp set. I was going to free-hand it, but remembered I had a stamp that would do the job perfectly.17-3-4The petals are glued down using the fine-tip glue just along the bottom of the score line. This allowed me to fluff up the petals a bit. The wooden embellishment is glued over the center to hide the seams where the hearts meet. 17-3-5This is a card you could easily replicate with any green paper and a heart punch. You can give it to your favorite person to remind them of how lucky they are to have you in their life. 🙂

We are down to the last weeks of Sale-abration. The Sale-abration products are now while supplies last. That fabulous Gold Card Tin has sold out but there are still lots of things to pick from. For every $50 purchase (pre-tax and shipping), you can pick one free Sale-abration item.

An even better deal is signing up to be a demonstrator so you can always get your craft supplies at a discount. And during Sale-abration, you get an extra two free stamp sets of your choice when you sign up. That’s approximately $229 worth of products for only $99. That’s more than half off! You can build a business or just be your own best customer, the choice is up to you. Let’s talk if you love a good deal.
