Another round of Customer Thank You cards were sent out this past weekend. This is the the card I sent out to all of my customers that made a purchase during the month of January. This is one of the best parts of my job, telling people how much I appreciate their supporting my small business. I am grateful every time someone chooses to purchase from me instead of at a craft store or online. I hope they enjoy their cards as much as I enjoy making them.
January’s thank you is made using the Needlepoint Nook Suite. This stamp set has coordinating dies, which makes it so easy to cut out all those flowers and leaves. For today’s card, I wanted to show off that amazing photo-realistic needlepoint pattern paper. I love that this looks just like embroidery.
I love all the little layers and leaves that came together for this card. Sometimes I really have no idea what I’m going to make until I start working with the various pieces and figure out which layers work with each other and which don’t. I’ll lay out the various pieces in an arrangement and keep moving things around until I’m happy. This card was originally going to have a couple flowers, but it was far too much on this little card front and it almost completely covered that pretty paper.
Are you missing out on receiving my handmade cards? Well, you don’t have to any longer. Click on the Order Online button on the right and it will take you to my online shop. Make a purchase of any size and you’ll automatically be added to the list to receive a thank you card the following month. All of these cards are handmade by me and each of them are unique to that month’s group – no one else receives these same cards except this special group. And if you make more than one purchase during the month, I’ll send you two different thank you cards.
