Who knew that white paper could be so complicated? As it turns out, it is a little complicated.
Stampin Up makes all our card stock in the US and they use several different paper mills to manufacture all those gorgeous colors. Unfortunately, Covid has forced the permanent closure of the paper mill that we use to manufacture our Whisper White card stock and envelopes.
Since that paper mill is no longer in operation, Stampin Up came up with a solution so they can still provide us with that same quality white card stock and envelopes. Our Whisper White products will soon be replaced by Basic White products. We’ve been assured that the Basic White products will have the same high quality as our Whisper White products. I believe the name change is related to having to create new inventory numbers for the new product. Here are all the new products…
Stampin Up isn’t sure exactly when the Whisper White will run out and we’ll transition to Basic White, but they said they will give us as much notice as they can. I’ll be sure to keep you informed. You can still order Whisper White products while supplies last.
PS. Whisper White is the only color affected by the paper mill closure.
