So my desk looks like a tornado hit it. I’d show pictures, but nope, not going to this time. Just picture about five a six projects mostly done and all the accompanying supplies for all those projects spread out. I think I’m down to 8″ of workspace now. I just managed to finish up a couple dozen cards and I’ll get those supplies put away very soon because now I need to get out the stuff for the next project.
I know you’re wondering why all the mess? Well, for the first time ever, my Downline group is working a Holiday Boutique. I kept thinking I had lots of time to make things for the booth. Then it hit me, it’s in three weeks. Oh my goodness! Time to light a fire under me.
Today’s projects showcases a retired stamp set Happy Scenes. I usually get rid of my retired stamp sets, but this is one I couldn’t part with. I love the mini scenes in the set. I debated sharing this card since the stamp set is retired. But then I remembered that just because I get rid of my retired stamps, doesn’t mean you do the same. So here it is.
The “Let it snow” sentiment does not come curved like this. Did you know that the photopolymer stamps are pliable enough that you can shape them into curves and other shapes? To hold it in place, I used my snail on the back of the stamp before I stuck it to the block. I stamped a bunch of these and not once did it come loose. Anyway, I’m on to the next batch of projects to make for the booth. Next up gift card holders and birthday cards.
