I’ve been working through the stamp sets I bought when the new Catalog was released in May, and I realized that I really hadn’t had a chance to use the extra large balloon dies from the Balloon Festoon bundle.
When I purchased the set, I thought these would be perfect to make large balloon cards. The die easily cuts through two layers of pattern paper.
When you use our pattern paper, the inside pattern is going to be different from the outside. I made sure to pick a pattern that did not have a definite nightside up view since you would be seeing both the top flap and the bottom flap of the balloon,
Since my inside pattern paper is very busy, I added a white layer to the inside so I would have somewhere to write a message. The strawberry card base is a single layer and does not open.
