Today’s card uses the absolutely adorable Let It Snow Suite. I don’t know what it is about snowmen, but I love these little guys. And this one in particular looks so happy dancing in the snow trying to catch all the snowballs.
I bet you’re wondering how I was able to get the bright white snowman here. No, he isn’t colored in using white ink. Instead I masked him off using a post it note covering his entire body and nose. Then sponged around him using Coastal Cabana ink. The blue ink surrounding him makes him look bright white.
And those snowballs are super cute! I made those using our Snowfall Accents Puff Paint. This new product is really cool and really easy to use. Just squeeze a bit of it where you want your snow, then heat set it with your heat tool. The puff paint immediately starts to puff up, and then hardens and dries.
Just a warning, the puff paint comes out of the tube really runny. You definitely want to heat set immediately so the puff paint stays right where you want it. I have heard the results are not quite as good if you let the paint sit on your paper a while before heating it.
My happy little snowman is dancing around, celebrating the approaching Holidays. What are you most looking forward to this year? Comment below and tell me your favorite Holiday activity.
