It is so nice to open my mailbox and find something other than bills or flyers addressed to “Occupant”. I just received a lovely Valentine’s card from my friend Lyndi in the mail a couple days ago. This really tickles me because Lyndi lives across the street from me.
You’re probably wondering why she bothered to mail it when she could have just left it on my porch or handed it to me. She knows, just as I do, how nice it is to open your mailbox and get a surprise from a friend. You know they took the time out of their day to send tell you that they were thinking of you.
So next time you are thinking of a friend, grab a card and drop it in the mailbox. They will be thrilled that you remembered them.
