I know Fall officially started a few weeks ago, but we are just starting to have a few cooler nights here and there. I love the pretty Fall colors that you see on trees, but we really don’t get much of that here in SoCal. Anytime I want Fall colors, I have to make my own. But that’s so easy to do with paper, stamps, and some dies.
Today’s card uses the brand new Corrugated Embossing folder. This folder makes the paper look just like corrugated cardboard. I love the texture it provides for the background. One thing to keep in mind though is that it does shorten the overall length of your paper. I would recommend cutting your paper .25″ longer than you need. After running it through the corrugated embossing folder, it will end up slightly shorter. This card goes together pretty quickly. I actually had a few leaves left over from another project so it made this one go even quicker. And that beautiful copper glitter paper sure is pretty. Our new glitter paper has been redesigned and it is so much easier to die cut.
Well, lots to do this weekend, including a couple soccer games and Homecoming game and dance. I’m going to try to squeeze in a bit of crafty time here and there too. See you next week!
