February is birthday month around here, between my son’s, my mom’s, my birthday, and the birthdays of several family friends. There’s no end to the partying this month. I’ve been making birthday cards for days. Special shout-out to my mom, Jan, it’s her birthday today. Happy birthday, mom! Thanks for being an amazing mom and grandma.
Today’s project is one of the birthday cards I’ve made this month. One of the February birthdays is a dog-lover so the Happy Tails stamp set was a perfect choice for her card. And as I discovered, the Happy Tails stamp set is seriously cute in any color. That pink pup is ready to party too. The party hat for the pup is a free-hand triangle cut to fit the pup’s head.
I used the Crackle background stamp to help fill in the card front. I intentionally stamped it uneven to add texture without being overwhelming. I’ve got some more ideas for this little party pup that I’ll be sharing soon.
And now for some classes! I’m starting off with some card classes and Paper Pumpkin nights. I’ve also listed the date for my new Catalog Open House in June. You’ll want to save the date for this event.
