I think one of the most common cards I make is a Birthday card. It can be a challenge to come up with new ideas every time. While making this card, I realized my go-to for birthday cards is to use flowers. I tend to use flowers before I reach for any cake or party stamps. I think it’s because we have a huge variety of choices when it comes to flowers and they can be so pretty when stamped.
This card uses the flowers from the stamp set Happy Birthday Gorgeous. The flowers and leaves do not have matching dies and I had to hand cut those out.
The background layer is stamped with the dots stamp from the Gallery Grunge stamp set. The giant happy birthday is the Happy Birthday thinlets die.
This card is going to a dear friend that I’ve know for years and years. I met her at my first “real job” after graduating college and we’ve stayed friends for all these years. She is truly a special lady.
Do you own the Stamparatus? If so, you’re going to want to check out our brand new accessories for it. We have a couple new products designed to give you more use from this product. We have grid paper which is specially sized to fit the Stamparatus. This ensures that your paper is straight before you stamp on it.
